6 Week Update

We had our first ultrasound January 15, 2009. The doctor wanted to check and make sure how many babies there were going to be. My HCG levels we incredibly high and were increasing rapidly. The ultrasound showed us that there was indeed only one baby forming. It was an amazing day, not only did we get to see the baby forming in the yolk sac, it was shaped like a heart! In addition to this amazing sight we were able to hear the heart beat and watch it as it was pulsating on the screen. Baby T had a heartbeat of 97 beats per minute at 6 weeks! Off to a great start!
